Sunrise in the Outback 4WD Tours offer a range of tag-along and
passenger tours especially put together to ensure your safety and
satisfaction. Our extensive knowledge of remote tracks, secluded
camping spots and scenic attractions means that your 4WD adventure
with us will be one to remember.
And those without experience , or even a 4WD, need not
feel left out. We can
arrange the hire
of a 4WD vehicle and all the necessary camping gear and will provide
adequate ongoing guidance in the use of the equipment throughout the
duration of the trip.

Clare Valley One Day
Passenger Tour
Visit the wineries and scenic attractions in one of Australia's most famous wine producing regions.
The Clare Valley is one of Australia's most famous wine producing regions and a fascinating place
for connoisseurs of both wine and history to spend some time.
Settlers from England, Ireland and Poland first moved into the region in the 1840's and left a rich
heritage of villages and architecture which remains largely intact today.
We take time to visit the best of the wineries and the premium attractions.
Itinerary
We pick you up from your hotel, motel or hostel at 8.30 am and travel
through open farmland via Two Wells, Mallala, and Brinkworth to Blyth
where we look through the Medika Gallery of artist, Ian Roberts.
A unique collection of paintings, ceramics, crystal etc all housed in the
historic former St. Petri Kirke Lutheran Church built around 1886.
On our arrival in Clare, we pause to enjoy morning tea and take a look
at the Inchiquin Lake, moving on to Billy Goat Hill Lookout, the Janet
Angas Gardens, National Trust Museum and finally Neagles Rock
Lookout before we stop for lunch at Eldredge Wines where you may
also wish to sample their excellent range. Clare Valley wines are world
renowned.
Wineries that we visit include Skilogalee, Mitchell and Quelltaler.
You will have a great afternoon sampling the produce and hospitality
of the region.
We depart the Clare Valley at around 3.30 pm and travel home via
Auburn, Tarlee and Gawler arriving back in Adelaide at around 5.30 pm.

Burra One
Day Passenger Tour
Explore the heritage of Australia's oldest mining town and the attractions of Burra Gorge.
Copper was discovered in Burra in 1845 and the Burra Burra Mine became the richest copper mine in the world by the
1850's. The mine ceased production in 1877 and reopened briefly in the 1970's. It is now a State heritage Area.
Burra is located approximately 150 kms from Adelaide and is only 30 minutes drive from the picturesque Clare Valley or 20
minutes drive from spectacular outback scenery.
Itinerary
We depart Adelaide at around 8.00 am and travel via Gawler and Tarlee to Burra
arriving at 10.30 am. Our first stop is the Burra Bakery where we enjoy a complimentary cup of tea or
coffee and the opportunity to purchase a much renowned Cornish pasty or one of the
delightful locally baked buns,cakes or tarts.
Next we visit the remains of the historic walled English village of Hampton followed
by a short stop at Kookaburra Farm to view its superb Photographic Gallery, before
checking out some of the oldest examples of rock art in Australia at Baldina
carvings in Stone Chimney Creek. It's then on to Burra Creek Gorge for our picnic lunch.
After lunch it's back to Burra and the Heritage Trail. We visit Redruth Gaol (the
setting for the highly acclaimed film, "Breaker Morant"), the Police Lock-up and
stables, the Burra Mine Historic Site, the Unicorn Brewery Cellars, and the Miners
Dugouts in the side of Burra Creek. The tour departs Burra at 3.30 pm and arrives back in Adelaide around 6.00 pm.
