Vehicle
Hire
provides you with one of our
fully equipped expedition Land-Rover Defender 4WD vehicles to tag-along
with us. Or we can provide the necessary driver training to meet the hire
conditions for independent travel. $170/day, extended hire discounts and
insurance options available.
Navigation
Kits
include maps,
guidelines and a prior briefing to help you plan your own adventure. We
specialise in Gippsland and the alpine wilderness regions of south-eastern
Australia. $70/trip
Equipment
included in vehicle:
First Aid kit, copy of
guide book "4 Wheel Driving Gippsland". Bow saw and gloves.
Portable fluorescent light. Shovel and folding toilet seat. 3 or 4 person
tent with groundsheet. Camping stove. Sleeping mats. Cooler. Water
container and bucket. Cooking gear box. Kitchen gear. Folding table and
chairs.
Optional
extras: Sleeping
bags, cross country skis, toboggans, metal detectors and white-water
inflatable kayaks.
Important:
Please note that 4WD
touring in the mountains can be hazardous. Therefore we recommend that if
inexperienced, you join one of our guided tag-along tours (at no
extra cost) and you still travel in your own hired vehicle. Insurance
