When travelling north to Airlie Beach, Mackay is a great place to stop for a couple of days, with plenty of land, sea, & air tours, beautiful beaches, rainforest surrounds, fantastic swimming holes........ and yes the list goes on and on.

The view to the islands from Harbour Beach will get you itching to set sail. Save some of your travel money for a life enriching experience, and when you return home, these memories will remain forever (as will the skills learned). Sailing courses start at around $45 dollars and go all the way through to instructor levels.

At Airlie Beach there are at least a dozen companies that you and a handful of friends can go fishing, rafting, snorkeling, boom netting, scuba diving - some may even offer all of the above. Don't forget to check out the monthly specials and save yourself some dollars.
