“Mountain mists lay low while above the dawn sky explodes with the colours of the sun rising and hot air balloons dancing”.

This morning in the Yarra Valley, someone just like us went ballooning and had the time of their life. As their jaw dropped at the beauty of it all, their stomach may have grumbled for the breakfast that waited for them below and if they weren’t already dizzy with delight there was a drop of bubbly too!

For land lovers, the Dandenongs are the perfect retreat whether it be for paddling on a lake or sipping a pint of ale in an old world pub. Enjoy a winery tour, take a ride on a steam train through the ranges or visit the makers of local produce in this region, whatever your pleasure the Yarra has it all!

There are many festivals and unique community events held in the Yarra, which means that on any given weekend you could easily find yourself hidden amongst the local celebration and perhaps enjoying a little 'moonshine'!
