The
Gippsland Lakes system is the largest inland waterway in the Southern
Hemisphere. Covering 400 square kilometres it extends for 90km down
the coast. Enjoy the beauty of Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park and the
Lakes National Park. With white sands and the ocean to one side and
the lakes on the other, these parks are nature strips inhabited by amazing
birdlife and wildlife. Visit the Koala colony that inhabits Raymond
Island and only a short distance away you will be certain to see Dolphins
feeding in the waters around Lakes Entrance.
Cape Conran coastal park and Croajingolong
National Park stretch for miles along the south east coast with a variety
