Do
you know what an everlasting daisy is? Well after this region you
will be an expert. The Mid west is known as the wildflower region
for that exact reason. The Kalbarri National Park boasts 800 species
of flowering shrubs During different month of the year you will
be able to take part in wildflower walks conducted daily from
the Western Flora Caravan Park by botanist Allan Tinker.
If that all seems a little pansy (pun
intended), then the region also has adventure activities such as
abseiling, rock climbing, canoeing, sunset horse rides, whale
watching and offshore islands to dive from. This area is
only 3 hours drive north of Perth, so put in on the agenda. There
is plenty of accommodation here (and truck loads of seafood too)
Where else in the world can you visit
the flower carpeted floor of the outback and dive
with the seals in one day.
