So you thought the Kimberly's had some
good facts about it. Well the Pilbara is estimated to be about 2.5
billion years old (one of the Earth's oldest land masses....not
bloody bad eh!). Not to mention Australia's largest national
park (Karijini National Park), covering 100,000 square kilometres
with chasms stretching 100-metre high with crystal clear rock
pools and cascading waterfalls below.

The Dampier Archipelago is a group
of 42 islands with pristine waters and sheltered bays. Fishing,
snorkeling, diving and boating are the things you will enjoy here.
While off the Pilbara coast you will also be able to go whale and
turtle watching. The mother land to Australian Aboriginals ensures
that the culture and pastime is etched and painted on the areas
rocks and walls. More than 10,000 of these engravings are on the
Burrup Peninsula, located near Dampier and tell of the age of the
Dreamtime (the most beautiful of beliefs - make sure you find out
about this).
