The Murray Region Tours

Corowa, Deniliquin, Narrandera, Wagga Wagga & Riverina Area

The townships of the Riverina were established in the early pioneering days. These historic towns are situated at the base of the Snowy Mountains where all the rivers run. Rivers, lakes and waterholes provide an abundance of activities such as canoeing and whitewater rafting and with mountain ranges nearby, its refreshing to get up high and breath the fresh mountain air. Hike, climb or sit back and enjoy the view.

Recreational sports such as fishing are increasingly popular with brown and rainbow trout the fish of the day. Fisherman dot the rivers wearing dungarees to protect from the cool waters and any nibbling fish we suspect. Its quite a site seeing grown men in strange big nappies. Its an easy sport to get hooked on (excuse the pun) and if your any good, dinner for the night won’t be a problem.

The area around the Murrumbidgee River is a fruitarians paradise with stone fruits and citrus fruits grown in abundance. There's also a pretty good rodeo in town and if your game, an evening of line dancing maybe?
