1 Day Fly-Drive Cooktown & the Rainbow Serpent Tour -
Depart Cairns early morning for the 40 minute flight to Cooktown with Skytrans, and enjoy the spectacular views as you fly along the coast between the rainforest and the reef. On arrival you will be met by Guurrbi Tours and driven to the outskirts of Hope Vale for the Rainbow Serpent Tour with Nugal-warra Elder, Willie Gordon.
Barron River Half Day Rafting -
The Barron River Gorge where we raft is located 20 minutes' drive north of Cairns and lies along a traditional pathway for the original Djabugay people, who used it to reach the coast from Kuranda. The Barron Falls, further upstream, is considered a sacred site, although today the Falls' fury, which inspired Bama (aboriginal) belief in its sanctity, is tamed by a hydroelectric power station.

The railway runs a Brisbane Cairns train or by bus Cairns Brisbane is possible in one long trip but most of us break the journey at the stoppign palces between Brisbane Cairns.
