Melbourne, Geelong, Bellarine & Mornington Peninsulas, St Kilda, Port Phillip Bay, Sorrento

Geelong is an historic mini city situated 75km south-west of Melbourne alongside the sparkling waters of Corio Bay (a smaller bay within Port Philip Bay). Popular attractions in Geelong include the Sunday Markets and you won’t miss the colourful bollards.  There are 100 of these handcrafted wooden figures staring out to sea.

Only a very short drive east of Geelong is the Bellarine Peninsula. You will find seaside vineyards, fresh seafood straight out of the bay and from here you can travel by passenger ferry across the bay to Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula. Horse ride along the beach or go bush walking through the National Park.

Make sure you spare a few days at the very least, to cruise around this great city. Whether you slip into roller blades, hire a bike or catch one of Melbourne's wonderful trams you’ll be glad you did.
