HELP !!

hi all, newie to the forum and generally looking for any help and assistance to get me from cairnes to sydney. What not to miss out on seeing and where best to stay, travelling between April-May 2011:)

G'day Cheryl and welcome to Backpacker Tours forums.

Have you looked at our available tours?  Even if you don't wish to do a 'big' one, there are loads of smaller tours for under $500 which are well worth your while.

It's really hard to recommend the best of what's to see and where to stay, as we won't know your preferences unless you contact us or give us a few more details on here, but there are many, many options (which will invariably lead to other things too!)

For me, I wouldn't miss out on one of the reef and rainforest options, Whitehaven Beach or Fraser Island.  All are totally awesome AND you'll get to meet some local, Aussie 'flavour'!
