I am visiting Australia very soon and wonder if anyone can tell me where the best places are to visit. Should I go to the Gold Coast or Brisbane I hear they are the best places

There is a lot to see in Australia. One issue is the distances involved. A good idea if time is short is to book one of the tours. We did one that can be booked with the travel shop on this web site. The agent is helpful and they sort it all out Just email what you need and they will sort it out.

Well Brisbane is lovely but I wouldn't say it's the BEST! It depends what kind of things you want to see - it's such a huge country unless you have a few months and are prepared to spend a fair bit of money or work as you go it can be hard to see everything. I reckon WA is great and is sometimes under ratted as a tourist destination. I want to drive Perth to Darwin one of these days and do the whole coast line.

Hello Andy
There are some many great places in Australia to visit the possibilities are endless really. I live in Cairns so I know a little about this area. This is a must see on your list. With the Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree and beautiful surrounding areas it truly is spectacular. Why not have a look at my guide for places to visit on the East Coast of Australia:
