Perth to Adelaide backtracks

I am an expat Australian (32) plant scientist who has been living in Germany and Belgium for the last 7 1/2 years and plan on returning to Australia to start work at Adelaide University beginning of September.  I will first return to Perth (late August) to see family, buy new 4WD ('08 Holden Rodeo Crew Cab 3L Turbo Diesel) load up with luggage and then head straight off to Adelaide (2700 km's).  I have done this trip 8 times now and once with a South African backpacker whole made the normally boring trip quite fun!  Plan on taking a few backtracks to cut the journey and see a few out-of-the-way sights.  Perth --> Narrogin --> Hyden (backtrack) --> Norseman --> Eucla --> Head of the Bight --> Penong (Cactus Beach) --> Ceduna --> Wirrulla (bactrack) --> Mt Ive Gawler Ranges (back track) --> Iron Knob --> Port Augusta --> Adelaide.  I plan on camping out along the way, and am looking for person(s) who want to join the trip,  make a contribution to fuel expenses and most of all someone who wants to experience a bit of the REAL Australia.  German or Dutch speaking would be great, but not a necessity, as I need to keep up on my language skills.
