G'day peeps,

I've just been to Port Douglas for a weekend and what a great place!  Stayed at the Parrot Fish Lodge and would recommend it to anyone heading to FNQ.  Clean, tidy, all amenities and close enough to the action to be no more than a stumble back after a few drinks! Grin

Port Douglas is a fabulous place to visit.  I only wish I'd had more time there.  If anyone has any experiences (good or bad) in that area, I'd love to hear them cos I reckon on going back sometime!

Cheers,
PR

I live on my yacht in the inlet at Port Douglas and agree totally.... Port Douglas and the surrounding area has a lot to offer to make an extended stay worthwhile.

Look up Douggies backpackers when staying here... I don't have anything to do with the management, its a great place to meet other backpackers and a short walk to everything.
