If you're in Brisbane and want to experience a little bit of paradise but can't afford the time or money to travel further north, Moreton Island offers fantastic white, sandy beaches, great camping and fishing, and is perfect for a weekend.

There's some good deals to be had too.  Have a look at this one day tour of Moreton Island. There are loads of other options too, have a quick look here!  ;D
