Sunshine Coast Travel Information

Very appropriately named, the Sunshine Coast is a favored all year round holiday destination for Australians and international travelers due to its perpetual great weather and magnificent white sandy beaches. Often referred to as 'beautiful one day, perfect the next', the Sunshine Coast is definitely one of Australia's jewels in the Crown. Situated on the lower east coast of the State of Queensland, the Sunshine Coast is not too far from the state capital of Brisbane and as such this is the starting point for many travelers to the Sunshine Coast and further north to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.
