Australia weather

Australia has a range of climates. The north is tropical and the south more temperate. The temperate area is very similar to Europe but in reverse! The northern are tends to be wetter in the summer and drier in the winter.

If you want sun and beaches then a good time to come is July - November and stay in Queensland and the Northern Territories. In the south the beaches will be too cold. Easter is a good time as it is OK in the north and OK in the south.

The good news is that as Australia is big you will be able have all climates at any one time,. It is quite easy to ski in August at the same time as scuba diving in Cairns! And with quick flights can be done over several days.
